Forrester hosts forum
The inaugural Forrester Research enterprise architecture forum demonstrated to attending IT and business executives how a well-executed enterprise architecture programme can accelerate value delivery using technology trends, according to Business Wire.
Over 300 IT and business strategy professionals attended the two-day event in San Diego, which concluded on Friday.
"Today's businesses require innovative practices and capabilities to increase bottom-line performance and keep up with the competition," said Forrester Research VP and research director Gene Leganza.
Consortium releases SOA podcast
The SOA Consortium has released a podcast of the presentation by Amit Sinha, VP of Portfolio Marketing at SAP, according to PR-Inside.
In his presentation, Sinha speaks of the challenges and opportunities in the 21st century business environment.
Sinha's presentation is based on information from 134 customer interviews and empirical analysis of 175 enterprise SOA roadmaps.
SOA security book unveiled
Two HCL Technologies executives, Dr Ramarao Kanneganti and Prasad Chodavarapu, have authored the book: "SOA Security", says Fox Business.
Published by Manning Publications, the book provides a bottom-up understanding of security techniques appropriate for use in SOA.
