Gartner BI summit imminent

The 2008 Gartner Business Intelligence (BI) Summit will be held from 5 to 7 February at the RAI Convention Centre, in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, according to Trans World News.

In its ninth year, the Gartner BI Summit 2008 will provide a variety of analyst presentations, case studies and panels.

At the summit, attendees will be able to find solutions to their BI challenges while networking with international delegates.

OW2 Consortium will launch a new initiative in the BI domain at the OW2 Conference, held at the Solutions Linux Paris trade show, according to PRWeb.

The BI initiative will create dedicated implementations addressing specific needs of vertical markets.

The group, made up of developers, integrators, SMEs, users, and researchers, is a good example of the network the company wants to develop and will allow it to meet its goals in the different areas being addressed.

MAIA Intelligence, a provider of BI tools, has released its complete suite of BI products, named 1KEY Agile BI Suite, according to Channel Times.

1KEY Agile BI Suite features 15 modules for technical and business users and is more than four times the size of last year s modules, with 1KEY 2.0.2 release.

This is the second biggest release of 1KEY Business Intelligence Software after 1KEY 2.0.2.
