CA Southern Africa is bringing CA's top global experts to SA to deliver updates on the newest global trends in IT management.
Andi Mann, CA Technologies VP: Strategic Solutions, will be one of the international keynote speakers addressing local IT management professionals at the second CA IT Management Africa Symposium, at the Sandton Convention Centre, on 4 September.
Mann, who is also a renowned speaker, author and blogger, will discuss cloud computing. He feels the cloud is maturing and therefore needs a new approach.
Among the other international experts coming to SA for the symposium will be Henk van der Heijden, CA Technologies' VP: Security Sales; Chris Rowett, CA Technologies' EMEA CTO; and Marcel den Hartog, CA Principal Product Marketing: Mainframe.
CA Southern Africa MD Gary Lawrence says the conference and expo is themed “IT at the speed of business” and will look at technologies to accelerate, transform and secure enterprise IT.
Focused tracks at the conference will cover key issues including security, service management, cloud computing and virtualisation, project and portfolio management, infrastructure management, and mainframes and storage.
Within these tracks, new trends including social media and service virtualisation will enjoy a strong focus, says Lawrence.
