BA apps for business travellers
British Airways will introduce an upgraded app for Apple's iPhone and new mobile apps for BlackBerry and Android users aimed at business travellers on 19 July, says Public Sector Travel.
iPhone users benefit from a mobile boarding pass on the phone which can be scanned through the airport process. Mobile boarding passes are expected to be available to BlackBerry users within the next “two to three months”. BlackBerry users can also sync their flights into their mobile calendars.
The new app makes use of Executive Club membership to personalise the service and enable users to carry all personal and booked flight information. There is also a live flight information facility.
