Government signs Open Text
The Canadian Federal Government has renewed a seven-year maintenance contract with Open Text for a maximum of 250 000 users, states Fox Business.
The agreement extends Open Text's broad range of enterprise content management (ECM) capabilities to all federal government departments, agencies and crown corporations, and will provide the foundation for the government's 2.0 strategy.
Already in use in 58 government departments across the country, the government's ECM solution provides the functionality to capture, manage, store, process, preserve, protect and retrieve document-based information.
WebCollage launches management centre
WebCollage has launched WebCollage Management Centre, a self-service platform that brings on-demand content integration capabilities to customers, reports Business Wire.
The Centre empowers manufacturers to deploy and instantaneously syndicate their product marketing information across all of their business partner Websites.
Manufacturers can also preview, approve and send content automatically to their network of retailers.
ConferencePlus develops new tool
ConferencePlus has launched the Share Portal, a content management tool for conferencing, says News Ticker.
Share Portal is the backbone of a suite of services that will allow ConferencePlus customers to store, publish, and share all their conferencing content, including recordings, media files, and any related files.
With the initial release of Share Portal, ConferencePlus customers are able to store their audio conference recordings in a single location.
