Govt ups payroll, increases IT jobs
The New Brunswick government is offering payroll rebates of up to $2 million to help create more IT jobs in the province, says the Winnipeg Free Press.
CGI Group will open a centre to develop and maintain IT applications, creating an estimated 150 jobs in Moncton.
The new positions are available to software developers, software analysts and project managers.
White Mountain adds payroll
White Mountain Technologies announced the integration of payroll as a software module into its Skoolee Student Information System for schools, reports Al Bawaba.
The payroll module manages the school's payroll activities, with support for multiple school branches and multiple countries.
Its highlights include coverage for all types of employee payroll in schools including teachers, workers, administrators, staff and security personnel, and support for retirement fund, taxation, and social security accounts.
Lawson Software expands partnership
Lawson Software is expanding its partnership with Business Software Incorporated (BSI) writes Benzinga.com.
The two companies have had a long-standing product partnership spanning nearly 30 years. Under the expanded partnership, BSI will now have a 'complementary gold' referral relationship with Lawson.
