Hundreds of doctors, nurses and other staff members must be added to the payroll. Software to integrate patient records throughout the organisation and state-of-the-art facilities must be bought and built.
The statements, which cover the 12 months ended 30 September 2007, and released 23 May, show Carilion's operating income fell to $2.21 million.
Man admits to cheque scam
A Bridgeton man pleaded guilty Tuesday before US District Judge Jerome Simandle to allegations he was creating counterfeit payroll cheques, says NJ.com.
George Davis, 39, admitted before US district judge Jerome Simandle that at the time of his arrest in August he was residing at the Ramada Limited Motel in Egg Harbor and possessed numerous counterfeit commercial cheques.
These included counterfeit payroll cheques of Bell Laboratory made out to numerous payees and totalling $42 000, as well as blank cheque refill paper and cheque-making software.
