HP has appointed Keith Bothma as HP Networking business unit and sales manager for the Enterprise Group in SA, effective immediately.
In a statement, the computing giant says Bothma has already been acting in this role for the last two months and, next to his responsibility to lead the HP Networking team, he will also be responsible for leading the commercial and public sector sales team.
"Keith has been instrumental in successfully growing the technology services sales and consulting business for the last few years," says Frank van Rees, MD and Enterprise Group lead for HP SA.
"His leadership and passion have contributed to him being promoted into a senior management position within the company. We wish him every success in his new role," he adds.
According to the company, Bothma has had a successful career with HP SA, and has more than 18 years' experience in the ICT sector.
He is an experienced sales manager with an extensive background in networking, HP notes, adding that he also has a strong understanding of the local ICT market and has excellent relationships with HP's customers and channel partners.
Bothma is a member of the Enterprise Group management team and will report directly to Van Rees.
