IBM is helping small to medium enterprises (SMEs) reduce the time and money in deploying and managing IT solutions, by offering a new range of low or no-cost , states TMC Net.

The computing company unveiled its Lotus Foundations Branch Office, which is its hardware and software solution to help businesses with tools like e-mail, office applications, file sharing, and back up and .

"With Lotus Foundations, IBM has a simple and secure platform that supports document solutions that involve encoded and image information and is ideal to simplify SME business processes," adds Xerox corporate director Tom Durkin.

Bullhorn beefs up resume search

Bullhorn unveiled a new online recruiting solution that seamlessly integrates with CareerBuilder.com, the nation's largest online job site, allowing recruiters to make better quality placements faster, reports Transworld News.

Available immediately to Bullhorn customers, the new solution is based on the on-demand, front office staffing and recruiting software firm's Integrated Resume Search technology and leverages Bullhorn's partnership with CareerBuilder.com to enable recruiters to post jobs in real time and search CareerBuilder.com's resume database directly, without exiting Bullhorn.

As a result, Bullhorn provides an end-to-end solution, from sales to sourcing and placement, to manage both sides of the desk, for staffing and recruiting firms to maximise revenue. "Our partnership with CareerBuilder.com is part of our commitment to deliver technology innovation and strategic business value that positively impacts staffing and recruiting firms around the world,” says Bullhorn CEO and co-founder Art Papas.

Stark Business Solutions expands premises

Stark Business Solutions (SBS) will expand its presence in southern Westchester and open in Scarsdale Village, which will mark its fourth site in the county, according to PR Web.

The SBS Suites of Scarsdale will occupy 10 000-square-feet (929 square metres) at 2 Overhill Road, in the heart of the village and steps from the Metro-North station. The space will be ready to be moved into next month.

The premium turnkey and office solution provider will occupy more than 55 000-square-feet (5 109 square metres) of office space in premium locations throughout the county. The company currently has more than 200 clients and experienced a 30% increase in revenue in 2008.
