IBM releases management software

IBM company Cognos unveiled IBM Cognos 8 v4, a management software designed to offer improved () capabilities, says Computerworld.

IBM Cognos 8 v4 lets organisations extend access to trusted information to engage a group of employees, customers and across financial and operational divisions and processes.

User capabilities include enterprise planning, dashboards, analytics and reporting combined with enterprise-class platform, flexible business modelling, and consumer-oriented interfaces to help business users gain access and interact with information.

SAS wins innovation award

SAS's Patron Value Optimisation software was awarded the innovative gaming technology product of the year award by the Casino Journal, states Marketwatch.

The publications stated the software made sophisticated market segmentation possible with its ability to process and translate guest information into marketing intelligence.

Judges called Patron Value Optimisation a powerful toolbox that can make a significant difference in a casino's profitability.

BravePoint expands BI solutions
