IndigoCube, the consulting, training and software specialist, has won top spot as IBM's best Rational Software partner in sub-Saharan Africa. This is the second year in a row IndigoCube has won this award.
IndigoCube assists organisations to simplify and improve the predictable delivery and maintenance of custom-built software through the adoption of modern development practices and methodologies such as the Rational Unified Process.
"Winning this award demonstrates that we are still the best source of Rational skills in the region," says Ziaan Hattingh, MD of IndigoCube, "which is confirmed by the number of clients who have successfully completed projects with us."
IndigoCube competed against all other IBM Rational partners in the region to win the award for the second year running. The award was presented at Montecasino at the IBM awards ceremony.
IBM's Rational is a complete solution for developing software and software-based systems and building, extending, modernising, integrating, and deploying software in business applications, embedded systems, and software products.
It is a cross-platform solution that offers an integrated application development environment based on open standards, including the universal Eclipse framework. 98 of the Fortune 100 rely on Rational tools.
"We have helped over 200 organisations to successfully buy and deploy Rational, we are the experts in IBM Rational technology and we know how the solution may be customised so that businesses can improve their software development, get to market faster, with greater confidence in the system, better quality and less risk," says Hattingh.
