Innovation awards entries due now

The organisers of the T-Systems Age of Innovation and Sustainability (AIS) Awards have issued a last call for entries in the competition. Entries are invited from the public and private sectors and from non-governmental organisations.

The AIS awards, now in their third year, recognise innovation in various forms. The winning entry could be a new product, process, , technology, project, initiative, market or , as long as the innovation is creative and sustainable.

Last year`s AIS Grand Prix Winner was CIDA City Campus, a tertiary education institution using innovative funding models. Other previous winners include Clickatell, DigitalMall, Espial Consulting, I-image, Learnthings SA and Psitek.

The AIS campaign is presented by Axius and the Da Vinci Institute for Technology Management, and is sponsored by ICT solutions and services company T-Systems.

Entries can be submitted until Monday, 14 July, at www.connexity.co.za, and judging will begin on 31 July. Entries will be evaluated by innovation, entrepreneurship and sustainability experts, as well as business strategy consultants. The awards will be presented on 12 August at the Sandton Convention Centre.
