Irish Bank implements BI

of Ireland has signed a deal with supplier Business Objects to implement () tools across the company, says Computing.

The bank hopes to respond more quickly to market changes by using the new system to analyse information more easily and distribute that data throughout the firm.

"As our bank continues to grow, we need complete visibility into our business performance," said Vincent Lattimore, manager of IT procurement services.

Casual Male expands with BI

Oco, a BI and data integration solutions provider, will support Casual Male's global expansion by implementing its on-demand BI solution in the retailer's direct business throughout Europe, reports Stock House.

Casual Male will launch into six European countries, including the UK, Spain, Germany, France, Italy and the Netherlands by August 2008.

The Oco solution will enable Casual Male to gain valuable insight into business trends and performance across multiple currencies in its European business.

Mobilink wins BI award

Mobilink won the 8th NCR IT Excellence Award arranged by Teredata Pakistan, an NCR group company, states Daily Times.

The award was presented to Atif Ahmad, director of strategy, innovation and budgeting at Mobilink, for excellence in BI.

This new category of award is dedicated to an individual who demonstrates exceptional skill in integrating a successful BI plan within an organisation and thereby increasing business performance and productivity.
