Itqan implements solution for NIC

Systems integrator Itqan Al-Bawardi has closed off an MS Dynamics GP implementation for the National Investment Corporation (NIC), says AME Info.

The solution commissioned by Itqan also includes the implementation of HR and payroll software, eKawader, which was developed and configured by Itqan on top of MS Dynamics to operate in the UAE market.

NIC employees will now perform all core accounting and business management functions on an IT-enabled platform, including financial analysis and reporting, assets management and other business processes.

Construction firm Travis Perkins has renewed its contract with NorthgateArinso and will continue to use its payroll and HR management solution until 2014, reports Recruiter.

Sage North America has released Sage Abra SQL HRMS 10, the latest version of its human resource management system for small and medium companies, states Web CPA.

Version 10 features a new user interface and information-sharing capabilities. A View Builder feature enables HR departments to provide users with real-time access to data filtered for their role within the organisation. Unique URLs link the views to a variety of applications, such as spreadsheet models, Web pages and management dashboards.

Sage Abra 10 includes sample application templates, such as merit pay budgeting and contact lists, for Excel, SharePoint and other applications, to help HR and non-HR users create the specific information-sharing documents they need.
