Ivory modernises mainframe

Securex, an HR and payroll outsourcer, modernised its customer-facing mainframe applications to be more interactive, responsive and cost-effective using GT Software's Ivory Service Architect, reports Integration Developer News.

Ivory moved an ageing batch CRM application to a new platform, converted it from VSAM to CICS and opened it up to leverage SOA and agile Web services.

Securex settled on Ivory's approach to mainframe modernisation, which combines application , Web services and on-going reliability. Securex officials noted the integrated Ivory tools would bring several key benefits to its business and B2B customers.

TSYS adds multilingual capabilities

TSYS, a global payment services company focusing on the financial sector, approached software provider Cezanne for an HR solution to help it better manage and develop people on an international basis, says Personnel Today.

The HR function has evolved to support TSYS operations across a number of different countries, including the UK, Cyprus, India, Russia, Malaysia, Netherlands, Spain and Dubai.

Cezanne's HR systems were selected for their multi-lingual capabilities, and for the company's strong track record in implementing international HR software solutions.

Franchise World selects UltiPro

Franchise World Headquarters selected Ultimate Software, an HR, payroll, and talent management solutions provider, for its unified human capital management solution, UltiPro, states QSR.

“UltiPro is extremely configurable and can address nearly all of our needs without costly customisations. In fact, during our evaluation, we identified 26 manual processes that can be out-of-the-box. We're also very excited to unify talent management, HR, and payroll across our company with UltiPro,” says Franchise World.

By centralising all of its human capital in one master system-of-record with UltiPro, the company will be able to reduce errors, eliminate duplicate entry, enhance business intelligence reporting, decrease paper-based processes, and reduce overall spending on HCM systems.
