
JDA has unveiled new features in its JDA Workforce Management and JDA Commerce Suite.
The new capabilities include mobile applications, simplified and automated retail execution, and unification of associates.
The mobility package is now available with JDA Workforce Management. The platform is intended to improve sales, reduce administrative time, and increase employee engagement, says JDA, and includes JDA Mobile Employee Connect, JDA Mobile Operations Connect, JDA Mobile Shift Connect and JDA Mobile Manager Connect. Functionalities supported include management of time, attendance, operations and reporting, shifts, and dashboards and KPIs.
"JDA's workforce mobility solutions increase employees' responsiveness to customer needs, improve administrative efficiencies while 'unchaining' employees from the back-office, bolster employee morale, and equip managers with time-sensitive information at their fingertips," says Wayne Usie, senior VP of retail at JDA Software.

JDA Commerce Suite has seen updates to its merchant desktop, including updates to the page builder, product media/family management, price management and dynamic assortments applications.
