Recognising distributors that have delivered exemplary solutions to customers, Kaspersky Lab, a developer of secure content management solutions, has jointly honoured sub-Saharan security experts, AfricaSD and Biodata IT, with its “African Partner of the Year” award.
The distributors were acknowledged at its Partner Conference, held in Dubai this month, Kaspersky Lab's premier annual event for industry partners. All award finalists and winners were selected from a group of nominations based on their dedicated use of Kaspersky Lab technologies to provide solutions for their customers' needs.
According to Kaspersky Lab, both companies have excelled in their quarterly sales and support across the region during the past year and were chosen from nominations across the Middle East and Africa.
Kobus van Vuuren, Product Manager at BiodataIT, says the growth in Kaspersky Lab sales for both new and existing customers is testimony to the fact that African companies are realising that Internet security, much like physical security, underpins today's business requirements.
