Konica Minolta recently entered the light production market, and will showcase its bizhub Pro range at the Gold Reef City Casino Conference Centre on 6 and 7 November.
"Long print runs can quickly become redundant," explains Paul Symonds, product manager at Konica Minolta SA. "Organisations need more flexible options."
"Short run 'print-on-demand` is a relatively new market, and we are very excited to be a part of it," says Andrew Griffith, digital product specialist at Konica Minolta.
The new bizhub product range allows for increased productivity, reliability, versatility, and quality at a lower price than competitors, Griffith adds.
The products that will be showcased include bizhub Pro 1050e, the bizhub Pro C6500 and the bizhub Pro 920.
There will be two configurations of the bizhub PRO 1050e, one including the Perfect Binder, which gives the device five additional configurations, bringing the total number of different configurations to 18.
The bizhub PRO C6500 and bizhub PRO 1050e will work with load balancing software known as Micropress.
