Law firm ups payroll technology

PlatformOne says Thorp Reed & Armstrong (TRA) has gone live with its HR outsourcing solutions for technology, services and support, according to PRWeb.

The Pittsburgh law firm estimates that HRO services will save the firm $100 000 annually and two FTEs.

In addition to hard dollars savings, Thorp Reed & Armstrong says it has greatly enhanced access to the personnel data needed to run its business.

After little more than two months on the job, CIO Brice Bible has developed a series of plans to improve IT at Ohio University, says Athens News.

The initial 75-day plan to evaluate IT needs and develop a strategic plan is now complete, the release reported. In addition to new appointments, OIT will restructure the central office to clarify staff responsibilities.
