Lexmark voted most reliable
Lexmark's single-function monochrome printers were rated most reliable in the "Under 70 ppm Monochrome Printer" category and received accolades for image quality, says Marketwatch.
The research, conducted by Industry Analysts, rated several printing and imaging manufacturers on print quality, reliability, image quality, productivity and features.
According to the report, Lexmark beat competitors such as HP, Ricoh and Xerox and had satisfied customers in the print-for-pay category better than any other brand.
Fujifilm rolls out Euromedia
Fujifilm Sericol has unveiled its large format printing business in the UK, states Graphicrepro.
The business will bring together a range of hardware, ink, media, software and tools from a single-source supplier, with many of the products carrying the company's newly-acquired Euromedia brand.
The roll-out of the Euromedia solution in the UK follows its launch in Europe with around 10 000 customers.
HP makes appointment
HP has appointed Lynn Pendergrass as senior VP for the Americas region of its Imaging and Printing Group (IPG), reports Yahoo! Finance.
She will have responsibility for maximising the group's profit and revenue growth, extending its market position, driving the company-wide consumer go-to-market activities and ensuring a superior customer experience.
Pendergrass will also oversee all IPG sales as well as its operational supply chain, marketing, consumer support and category management activities.
