ManageSoft offers Oracle licence

ManageSoft will provide an Oracle compliance package option with its new Enterprise Compliance Manager version 8.0 software, reports IBtimes.

The compliance package includes discovery and inventory of Oracle database instances and options across an enterprise.

The package also supports the primary Oracle licensing model, Processor-based and Named User Plus, and incorporates a set of rules for these licence types to allow optimisation against actual use and Oracle licence usage rights.

Ecteon expands management suite

Contract management solutions provider, Ecteon, has released Contraxx 7.0, an update of its Web-enabled contract management software, states Marketwatch.

The latest release of Contraxx includes all of the contract creation, workflow, and reporting tools, and also offers support for the newest editions of Windows, Office, Oracle and SQL Server.

"We strive for continuous software improvements to meet customers' evolving needs," says Lonnie Blackwood, president of Ecteon.

CGI awarded $25m FCC contract

IT services vendor CGI has won a 10-year, $25 million contract from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), says Istockanalyst.

CGI will provide financial management software and other technology services to the FCC as a part of the agency's core financial system replacement initiative.

The company will be responsible for replacing the FCC's existing Federal Financial System software with its Momentum financial management software and Financial Management Line of Business hosting application to manage the FCC's annual and application processing fees.
