International software company Maximizer Software has opened its first South African branch to expand the company`s EMEA region reach into southern Africa.
The office, in Sandton Square, will distribute Maximizer Enterprise, the company`s flagship customer relationship management (CRM) and eCRM software programs. The local office will work in conjunction with Maximizer`s five authorised business partners in SA.
Maximizer Enterprise CRM allows businesses to share customer information between various departments as well as communicate effectively with customers by telephone, letters, fax, mail campaigns, e-mail and Internet.
"SA is an important market for our software, particularly Maximizer Enterprise," says Marcus Potts, MD of Maximizer Software EMEA. "Our establishment of the Johannesburg office demonstrates our commitment to the region, and enables us to provide a full range of sales, implementation, training and support services to businesses in southern Africa."
This is the first time Maximizer Software has opened an office in SA. Anton Pienaar, spokesman for Maximizer Software Johannesburg, says the office should not be confused with Maximizer SA, which operated out of Johannesburg some time ago.
"Maximizer SA was a reseller only. They were found to be selling software without a legal licence and their licence was discontinued by Maximizer Software some time ago," he says.
Johannesburg is the second regional office to be opened by Maximizer Software EMEA this year; a Dubai office was opened in April to service the Middle East at a local level.
