Mega partners with BPM
Mega, an enterprise architecture (EA) solutions provider, has extended its global partners programme to Eastern Europe and Russia by signing an agreement with BPM International, reports Marketwatch.
BPM provides business and product advice to corporations in 18 eastern European countries and focuses on business process improvement, operational risk management, service-oriented architecture, IT system design, EA initiatives, and ITIL implementation.
Through its partnership with BPM, Mega will have a network of partnership resources in key regions, including North and South America, Scandinavia, Eastern and Western Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Africa, Australia, and New Zealand.
Fusion unveils ioSAN
Fusion-io has unveiled ioSAN, the first networked enterprise solid state drive (SSD), reports Marketwatch.
The ioSAN makes it possible to extend the raw power of the SSD across the network and can be deployed as networked, server-attached storage or integrated into networked storage infrastructure.
The fusion of networked and multi-tiered storage offered by the ioSAN improves applications that need quick access to data, such as financial services applications, as well as more traditional, storage-related applications, such as replication, mirroring, ILM, failover and backup/restoration.
Web system wins APEC award
A delegation from the Department of Education, which presented a Web-based information system that effectively monitors projects, emerged with the best team project in the APEC e-Learning Training Programme held recently in South Korea, reports Pia.gov.
The team presented an information system that uses real-time data for projects and will address the information needs of the department for measuring internal efficiency and effectiveness, planning and programming.
The APEC e-Learning Training Programme aims to narrow the digital divide and enhance the quality of education in the APEC region.
