Office automation supplier Motion has opened its head office in Bryanston and unveiled plans to roll-out more branches countrywide by 2008.
From a small start in 1998, Motion now has solid governance and strategies in place, says CEO Paul Gray.
The firm has a turnover of R100 million per annum and a staff complement of over 100. It recently embarked on its empowerment initiative, through a partnership with start-up firm Motion Boikanyo, headed by director Molefi Moloantoa.
In addition to the new head office, the company has two franchises - Motion West on the West Rand and Motion Central in Randburg, says Motion founder and MD Brett Furlong. Plans are under way to open similar branches or franchises in the East Rand, the Midrand area, Pretoria and the Vaal next year.
In 2007, branches will be opened in Cape Town, Durban, Port Elizabeth and Bloemfontein.
By 2008, branches are envisaged for George, Kimberley, Nelspruit, Witbank, East London, Pietersburg, Pietermaritzburg and Ladysmith.
