Microsoft has boosted its mobile services by teaming up with M-Com's BankAnywhere to provide a complete end-to-end mobile payments solution for the banking industry worldwide, reports Cellular-News.

"It is clear that consumers in Asia and around the world have an insatiable demand for mobile financial services, especially payment transactions," says Adam Clark, CEO of M-Com.

" must engage their customers and prospects in the mobile channel in the short term to ensure they profit from sustainable revenues and key customer segments that are adopting these services."

Deutsche , Bottomline bring Web cheque service

Bottomline Technologies, provider of collaborative payment, invoice and document automation solutions, announced at Sibos 2009 a partnership with Deutsche Bank to serve as the technology provider for the bank's new Web-based outsourced cheque generation initiative, states Reuters.

Designed for Deutsche Bank`s financial institution clients, this hosted offering leverages Bottomline`s WebSeries platform to provide a comprehensive solution for requesting, approving and printing cheques and remittance information locally, across multiple currencies and in a format to clear locally in the beneficiary`s country, hence minimising fees and clearing times.

This is the latest engagement between Deutsche Bank and Bottomline focused on increasing payment efficiency, and will allow Deutsche Bank clients to accelerate payment cycle times.

Touchstone banking solution now in Spain, LA

Petra Financial and Acotelsa, a financial services and telecommunications consultancy in Spain and Latin America, have signed a deal to market Touchstone Mobile in Spain and Latin America, with focus on Mexico, and developing Latin American countries, states Bobsguide.

Petra Financial is a global software company developing solutions in payments and mobile banking. Petra Financial customers include HSBC, National Australia Group, Absa, First National Bank and Mizuho.

Touchstone Mobile says it provides greater interaction with banking services for customers with the Apple iPhone and iTouch; BlackBerry Bold and BlackBerry Curve; and 3G and WiFi-enabled phones.
