MWEB`s ADSL service has been disrupted, leaving subscribers stranded and second tier providers indefinitely disconnected.
According to the to the technical services centre at the company, its ADSL fell over at about 12 midday today and was expected to be back up by 3pm.
Apparently, the disruption has affected the Gauteng region, which specifically includes Johannesburg and all of its surrounding areas.
At the time of publication, MWEB said that it was unable to determine the cause of the problem, but said that for the duration of the disruption, all subscribers in the affected region would experience problems with data transfers.
