SAP extends SME programme

SAP has unveiled the SAP Extended Business programme to promote collaboration among SAP channel partners and other non-partner companies in order to benefit its growing number of SME customers, reports Pr-usa.

The role of the SAP Extended Business programme is to identify and promote opportunities in the SME space as well as promoting, marketing and implementing the selected SAP and partner solutions in collaboration with an authorised VAR.

The programme also aims to help companies stay up-to-date with SAP software and technology, and effectively work with SAP partners to deliver solutions for SMEs.

IT firms outsource marketing

Indian technology SMEs are outsourcing some key marketing functions like making pitch documents, lead generation, power point presentations and even reverse outsourcing, reports Economictimes.

SMEs are seeking to attract potential buyers and investors and those who are looking at sustained growth.

Service providers are also growing in an effort to capture business from small enterprises that either lack the bandwidth or cannot afford a high-cost, full-time marketing resource.
