Enterprise company Navision SA reports that its image revival campaign is paying dividends, with its lead generation rate quadrupling in the past year, and an expanded growth rate expected in the next 12 months.

Danish-based Navision Software, listed on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange, in November last year announced a merger with another Danish enterprise software company, Damgaard.

Speaking at a road show presentation in Sandton this week, Navision SA MD Keith Mullan said the company`s recent extended image revival campaign in SA delivered a response rate of around 20%.

"Navision has penetrated the local market and we are experiencing an increased demand for our product from the mid-sized market segment."

"Providing users with Web access to Navision Financials is a crucial step in Navision`s e-business strategy, which will make it easier for customers in the mid-market to realise the full potential of the Internet. We provide our customers with a simple and straightforward solution to access their data from anywhere in the world, at any time, as long as they have access to a Web browser," Mullan said.

Navision also demonstrated its User Portal, the first mid-market solution based on Microsoft Digital Dashboard 2.01, and the Wireless Application Protocol Resource Kit, which allows Navision Solution Centres to build highly-customised mobile business solutions.

Mullan said staff members are to begin training overseas soon, ahead of the launch of a new product in September.
