IT security vendor Network Associates has appointed Workgroup as a distributor for its full range of McAfee and Sniffer products.
This move will allow Network Associates to penetrate new markets and ensure Workgroup`s resellers have access to the McAfee Security and Sniffer Technologies ranges of products to meet growing end-user demands.
Christopher Bray, Network Associates regional director of sub-Saharan Africa, says: "Workgroup has demonstrated a successful distribution model and this move serves to broaden our markets and increase penetration of our McAfee and Sniffer product sets. There is a growing demand for network analysis and diagnostic tools which optimise the performance of the network and the Sniffer range of products can meet these demands. Workgroup`s success and growth will assist us to take these products to market and meet the demands of competitive businesses and consumers."
Workgroup`s retail division CREW is instrumental for Network Associates to reach the retail market. Its wealth of experience and focus in this sector will assist McAfee`s range of consumer products to fulfil this niche market which has previously had little choice in terms of product.
