The Communications Cabling Association of Southern Africa (CCASA) has named Raletlhogonolo (Andile) Tlhoaele as the new chairman of its executive committee.

This comes after Dewald Burger stepped down as executive director of the association at the CCASA annual general meeting in April. Burger will stay on as a non-executive committee member and a skills development subcommittee facilitator.

CCASA is a registered Section 21 company that represents the interests of members of the communications mediums industry in the southern African region.

Tlhoaele is also the chairman of CCASA`s black economic empowerment subcommittee and a member of the ICT charter working group`s task team.
