Duxbury Networking, the South African distributor of Huawei Technologies networking products, has launched the QuidView range of network element management software for the Huawei range of datacomms equipment.
Duxbuty`s chief technology officer, Graham Vorster, says the new offering is designed to assist network administrators to gain a comprehensive insight into network usage, from a business perspective.
"Understanding the usage of services in a next-generation network environment is critical to business success," he says. "Usage relates to both long- and short-term decisions concerning network capacity, upgrade strategy and quality of service demands from users.
"The QuidView monitors incoming data and converts it to key business information immediately. It enables network administrators to interactively model and analyse high volume, real-time, customer service-specific usage data."
Vorster says the QuidView delivers accurate information in easy-to-read graphical and tabular formats, and its highly scalable, distributed agent architecture meets all current and future infrastructure requirements.
