Trend boosts SME portfolio

Trend Micro aims to boost its portfolio among SME through a series of roadshows across the UK in February and March, says VNUNet.

The anti-virus vendor expects 400 to attend the events in London, Manchester, Edinburgh, Birmingham, Bristol and Dublin.

The seminars will focus on the roadmap for Trend Micro's Worry-Free SME software and its strategic direction.

Most SMEs struggle with financing

Only a fraction of SMEs in Brunei get financing from local banks, says BruneiDirect.com.

Most have absolutely no access to financing, according to data gathered by the Brunei Institute of Technology SME Study.

More than seven in every 10 (76%) of SMEs in the sultanate could not get access to bank financing, the institute said in a study.
