OK Foods, the retail division of Shoprite Checkers, recently held its annual conference in Beijing, China. This prestigious event was attended by nominees in the different store categories, other invited franchisees and selected suppliers. Spinnaker Software, supplier of Arch Retail Systems, the OK in-store management software of choice, was one of the privileged partners to attend.
The following stores were nominated in the different categories. OK Foods - Kakamas, Cambridge (East London) and Gansbaai; OK Grocer - Algoa (Port Elizabeth), Heilbron, Stilbaai, Opuwo (Namibia), Richards Bay and Lephalale; OK Minimark - Cape Town Station, Gordons Bay, Middelpos (Upington), Pietermaritzburg, Voorbaai (Mossel Bay) and Cape Town Sanlam HO; and OK Megasave - Kempston Road (Port Elizabeth) and Swakopmund. The winners were announced at a black-tie gala evening: OK Foods - Gansbaai; OK Grocer - Lephalale; OK Minimark - Sanlam HO; and OK Magasave - Swakopmund.
Arch was represented by David Geldenhuys, Marketing Executive Officer, who congratulated the respective winners.
