ITWeb has unveiled ConsultingWeb, a Web site dedicated to the business management consulting industry and the consumers of business management consulting services.

Martyn Moseki, MD of ConsultingWeb, says the online publication aims to be a single source of news and information about the consulting industry.

He says the purpose of ConsultingWeb is to connect suppliers and buyers of business consulting services. "It also aims to make consulting knowledge available to all interested parties and act as a knowledge transfer conduit.

"The site will provide readers with knowledge from top management consulting organisations and with insight and commentary sourced from business consultants and corporate executives," adds Moseki.

Moseki says ConsultingWeb, with a growing database of consultants from different professions, will offer readers niche industry expertise and an opportunity to through online forums.

"Our ambition is to grow ConsultingWeb into the most trusted voice in the South African business management consulting industry, and the first port of call for an audience that ranges from local and international consultants to small and large business decision-makers," says Moseki.

CEO of ITWeb Jovan Regasek says ConsultingWeb is a much-anticipated extension of ITWeb's content and business models into the consulting industry. "Although information and knowledge-intensive, the consulting industry is under-serviced from a media perspective. Local consultants are forced to use international channels to access and share knowledge and information - mostly with little relevance," he states.

Anyone who is interested in participating in business management knowledge transfer can forward their research reports, white papers, thought leadership articles and the like to editor@consultingweb.co.za.
