More than 150 CallingtheCape members, most of them small to medium enterprises (SMEs), will benefit from its free online industrial relations facility.
The Section 21 company, based in Cape Town, has partnered with Nth2 to offer its members human resources facilities online.
A CallingtheCape statement says the Web-based solution will offer paying members over 150 employment policies, letters, contracts and documents for business use, regular case and news updates, as well as compliance checks. The service will also provide an accredited broad-based black economic empowerment self-scoring facility.
"Our members will be able to take the documents that have been drafted by Nth2 and personalise them to suit their enterprises," says CallingtheCape marketing and events coordinator Yolanda Matambeka. She explains that 40% of its 155 members are SMEs.
Matambeka notes that the service was launched less than a month ago and members will be able to access it via a password and username.
The CallingtheCape Web site states that the organisation was created out of a need to consolidate the Western Cape business process outsourcing sector through a unified industry body.
