Onsight, locally developed B2B mobile sales app, has been released on Windows 8, Android

After the successful release of Onsight, Maxxor's mobile sales app, on the iPad platform earlier this year, Maxxor now announces the expansion of this app to both the Windows 8 and Android platforms. This B2B mobile sales catalogue app can now be downloaded and used by sales managers and their sales reps on all the major tablet platforms.

The decision to grow Onsight's reach to both Windows 8 and Android was an easy decision for the company. "Our experience has taught us how to customise any app to take advantage of the unique features of each of the mobile platforms, and we want all sales teams to get a high-quality sales tool regardless of which mobile devices their salespeople use," says Adrian Frielinghaus, Maxxor's Director of Product Development.

"Maxxor's goal in developing Onsight is to help manufacturers, distributors and wholesalers of all sizes reduce waste, improve efficiency, and eliminate errors in their mobile sales process by replacing paper-based tools with the latest mobile technology," Frielinghaus continues.

Along with the Android and Windows 8 releases, Onsight has also been upgraded with some exciting new features. The mobile dashboard now puts daily sales information and product updates into a handy new screen so that all members of a sales team can stay up to date.

Onsight customers can also now upload their existing product brochures to Onsight and integrate them with full ordering functionality so that sales reps can use existing visual assets like brochures and pamphlets to initiate real-time electronic sales.

The release of these new features and the introduction of Onsight to new mobile platforms aim to build on the impressive track record the first release established with customers. According to Colleen Riley, National Sales & Marketing Manager at Supreme Beverages, a national distributor and manufacturer of new and innovative alcohol beverages: "We knew Onsight could help improve the performance of our sales team. We have 10 sales agents spread out all over the country and we needed a solution to synchronise data between all of them, while also allowing them to easily and quickly send orders back to head office."
