Open Text targets firms

Open Text, a player in the enterprise content management (ECM) space, has released an e-mail management offering for its law firm customers, says CNW.

Combining fundamental e-mail filing and archiving capabilities, the solution helps firms define, secure and control the processes by which e-mails are managed.

Open Text E-mail Lifecycle Management for Law Firms addresses the largest business problem facing firms around the world today: managing enormous volumes of client and matter-related e-mails.

Avnet channels VDoc

Avnet plans to sell an integrated suite of content management software developed by the French company VDoc Software, says IT Jungle.

The VDoc suite spans several disciplines, including content management, document management, business process management, and Web-based collaboration, and runs on OS, Linux, Windows, and Unix operating systems, Avnet says.

VDoc got into the software business in 1997, when it released its first document management offering to its European customer base.

Agility added to list

Agility Content Management System is now added to the list of Hosted Systems on CMS Wire, according to Web Wire.

CMS Wire is one of the most current Content Management resources on the Web. The site allows you to review popular content management systems and keeps buyers up-to-date on the latest trends in the industry.

The broad CMS Wire audience includes decision-makers, vendors and analysts with a focus on Web and enterprise content management.
