Oz BI firm bought for $2.5m
Hologram, an Australian-based business intelligence company, has been acquired by Northern Ireland software and consulting services provider, First Derivatives, in a non-hostile deal worth around $2.5 million, reports iTWire.
Announcing the sale of the business, Hologram principal, Paul Phillips, said the acquisition strengthened First Derivatives' presence in the Asia-Pacific region and would enhance the company's global service offering.

It gives us additional channels to market for our treasury and enterprise risk management systems and allows us to accelerate our plans by leveraging First Derivatives' global presence and expertise in Kx technology.”
Temenos releases BI suite
Temenos, a provider of core banking systems, has launched Temenos Insight, a packaged BI suite that is expected to help banking staff make fact-based decisions to strengthen customer insight and risk and compliance and performance management strategies across the enterprise, writes Computer Business Review.
The company said Insight is a modular; browser-based application, underpinned by Microsoft's BI platform, and integrated with Temenos T24.
Existing T24 users can deploy the system in less than eight weeks and begin to realise benefits immediately upon implementation, whilst minimising disruption to the existing infrastructure, services and cost base, the company says.
