Siemens increases usability
Siemens PLM Software version 4 of Teamcenter Express cPDMTeamcenter has improved collaboration and control for project managers, lead engineers and shop-floor users, reports Manufacturing Talk.
The latest release adds an embedded project management option and a new shop-floor access client

Borland launches framework
Borland is launching a framework for placing management tools on top of the software development process, writes Information Week.
The idea is to provide visibility for the business stakeholders, developers, project managers, and software executives into the development process.
"We want to transform software delivery, which doesn't have the best track record, into a managed business process. This is a FedEx tracking system for IT projects," said Rick Jackson, senior VP of corporate strategy.
