Local online recruitment organisation, Pnet, has signed a deal with a US-based company to become the exclusive representative of its multilingual, Web-based software solution, MrTed TalentLink. The move is intended to reduce costs and increase real-time solutions to the recruitment and staffing processes.
MrTed is a provider of global recruitment software solutions, with operations throughout Europe and a client base that includes Accenture, Siemens and France Telecom.
"The TalentLink solution brings together all the processes of internal and external personnel procurement onto a central communications platform, which allows for faster interaction and information sharing between all recruitment participants," says M"uller Swart, Pnet Group CEO.
"It is a multilingual, Web-based software solution that automatically generates statistics to help analyse and optimise corporate recruiting and internal mobility processes, thereby reducing costs and increasing real-time solutions to the recruitment and staffing processes.
"Pnet has consistently expanded its services portfolio through its eRecruitment network to enable customers to achieve this objective and Talentlink enables very efficient development of individually tailored eRecruitment and e-HR solutions based on the needs of our customers."
TalentLink has already been integrated into the Pnet site and is fully operational, according to Swart, who says it will ultimately allow locally-based applicants to access a multitude of positions in SA and internationally, via a process that produces the most accurate fit between candidate and employer.
Swart believes this technology will enable recruiters to radically improve their management of responses to vacancy applications, thereby identifying themselves as employers of choice.
