Business Connexion and UCS Solutions will be giving away a Polo Vivo 1.4 to one lucky delegate at the upcoming SAP Saphila 2012 conference, at Sun City.
Business Connexion and UCS Solutions, the two SAP divisions of the Business Connexion Group, are SAP-certified partners in various areas and both companies have worked extensively with SAP since the late 90s. As joint partners at Saphila 2012, they are presenting three papers as part of the conference.
According to Marius Jonker, managing executive for Business Connexion SAP services division, Business Connexion and UCS Solutions stand to benefit a great deal by being sponsors at Saphila 2012.
"The reality is that you can go online and get the information you are looking for, but at Saphila, you get the opportunity to interact with knowledgeable people face-to-face," says Reg Barry, executive for projects within UCS Solutions.
"As the biggest SAP event in Africa, Saphila provides us with the platform to demonstrate our capability to our customers. Being present at Saphila will also allow Business Connexion and UCS Solutions to further build our brands and visibility as partners in the SAP ecosystem. As a significant player in the SAP ecosystem, it is important for us to be visible at Saphila, demonstrating that we are committed to staying abreast with SAP's solutions and strategy," says Jonker.
Barry adds that, to this end, they are sending 50 delegates to the conference. "We are sending some representatives to the conference as a reward for work well done because we know that information being showcased at the conference will be of great benefit to our team members. But most importantly, we are hoping to gain something from the networking perspective of the conference," says Barry.
"Every time there is a Saphila conference, partners usually give away a prize. This year we decided to go big, so we jointly decided to sponsor a car as a prize at Saphila 2012," Barry adds. Delegates will need to swipe their ID tags at the three stands sponsored by Business Connexion and UCS Solutions to qualify for the prize. "From a marketing perspective, this is our single biggest marketing spend that we have for our SAP divisions," says Barry.
Sponsoring the prize is a good move for their respective brands, according to Barry and Jonker. "We wanted maximum exposure at Saphila," Barry says, adding that they want to encourage as many customers as possible to attend the event. "The odds of winning this car are better than any other competition you can think of due to the limited number of people. You have a much better chance of winning here than with other competitions," Barry adds.
The car will be given away to a lucky delegate at the Saphila gala dinner, on Tuesday, 30 October. For more information on how to register for Saphila and to stand a chance of winning the Polo Vivo 1.4, click here.
