Praxis42 unveils mobile learning
Praxis42 has introduced a mobile learning training course on the safe use of mobile devices, says SourceWire.
The training is similar to the e-learning concept being used by many organisations but the content is delivered to a mobile device such as a mobile phone or PDA and accessed through either a memory card, an Internet connection or downloaded to the mobile device.
The course is one of a range of health and safety modules the company is offering as a learning intervention.
Compendle changes e-learning landscape
MyKnowledgeMap has unveiled a Web based tool which will change the way e-learning is packaged and delivered, states PR-inside.
Compendle is a software service which allows tutors and managers to create and publish e-learning courses without the aid of an IT technician.
A free version of Compendle is being offered online, as well as more packages which offer greater amounts of storage space and extra features.
ThirdForce offers hospitality e-learning package
ThirdForce, an e-learning provider, has released a computer based training and testing package that will allow all staff in the hospitality sector to obtain their national qualification whilst at work, reports PersonnelToday.
Staff who want to sell alcohol to the public can learn about safe and compliant service and obtain their National Certificate for Personal License Holders through the online package.
The package will allow staff to perform the online test on their working premises, eliminating financial costs and inconvenience for employees.
