Pharmaceutical firm streamlines content
AstraZeneca is putting in a single global Web content management platform to replace multiple existing systems, according to VNUNet.
The new system called Morello, supplied by Mediasurface, will replace the pharmaceutical firm's two existing bespoke packages and a handful of agency-based systems as part of their global e-service integration strategy.
The developments complete a rationalisation programme, bringing together disparate systems under a single, global technology that will enable seamless online relationships and a better customer and stakeholder experience, said AstraZeneca e-marketing global director Kay Wesley.
Winchester installs content management
Winchester City Council has begun installation of an enterprise content management system from Open Text, according to Computer World UK.
The council, which has been digitising its paper documents for some years, will use the Livelink ECM system to manage its electronic records more effectively across the organisation.
The new system will be provided by IT services firm Hedra and will be rolled out across all the council's departments by 2010.
