Global software company Remedy is reviving its South African presence with a series of meetings and a user group event in Midrand next month.
Remedy, a BMC Software company, delivers best practice applications to help customers align service and support with business objectives, improve service levels and manage assets.
Its products are used in over 12 000 customer sites, with 10 million end-users worldwide. The company says it has several top clients in SA, but has maintained a low profile in recent years.
Together with its local partner, Blue Turtle Technologies, Remedy aims to revive its local presence and bring South African clients up to speed with a two-day Remedy User Group (RUG) Africa event in Midrand next month.
The event, to be staged at Gallagher Estate on 9 and 10 September, will look at aligning business strategy and IT systems using Remedy and Blue Turtle solutions. The RUG event will also outline new Remedy solutions, crisis management and cover ways to improve customer service and support.
Blue Turtle Technologies provides solutions for managing IT infrastructure and aligning technology and business. The firm provides solutions for enterprise application integration, business process, service management and customer service, information security management and systems management.
