A new Cape Town-based online business directory, Business Broadcaster.com, is to launch an affiliate programme to boost listings on the Web site.
"An automatic system will track all referrals by affiliates who can register to earn commission on each referral," says Business Broadcaster founder Robbie Kleinot. "This is one of the ways this service will be brought to the attention of the offline community, spreading awareness of the value of having an online presence."
The introduction of the affiliate programme comes a month after Kleinot introduced Business Broadcaster, which claims to be the first online business directory to be linked to a discount voucher service.
"Business Broadcaster saves time and money by providing a search engine as well as discount vouchers for some of the listed companies," says Kleinot. "The directory provides a simple and user-friendly format for visitors and those businesses wishing to have a meaningful Web presence."
Various listings are available, with businesses having access to tools for setting up competitions and creating vouchers.
