SAP unveils business solution

SAP has made a move into the office solution market with the release of a suite of new software, says Network Computing.

The SOA-enabled suite delivers more than 150 functional innovations for all applications across the suite, including SAP's enterprise resource planning, customer relationship management, supply chain management and product life cycle management applications.

The new business suite also incorporates select analytics capabilities from SAP BusinessObjects to allow for better insight into the business and the ability to monitor execution.

Apollo Power & Light has selected ePsolutions' back office solution for its establishments, according to PR News Wire.

ePsolutions will be responsible for managing and processing Apollo's full EDI transaction sets as well as its back office needs and market support. Apollo Power & Light focuses on the advance pay market, servicing residential and commercial businesses in Texas.

The integrated retail and e-commerce solutions provider will supply Hockey World with retail store point of sale software, multiple ecommerce websites, call centre software and a Web-based, centrally managed back office solution, including purchasing, vendor and inventory management, order processing and fulfilment and warehouse management.
