Leading telecommunications operator, Sentech, will sponsor the World's Biggest Company Golf Day on 23 May 2007 at the Centurion Golf Park.
This is the third year that Sentech will sponsor this event and it aims to top the amount of R100 000 raised in previous years. All proceeds of the day go towards CHOC (Children's Haematology Oncology Clinics).
The funds raised by the event will help children with cancer by providing upgrades to CHOC houses and their medical equipment.
"Now in our third year of sponsorship, Sentech's association with CHOC is firmly established. This event is able to target corporate South Africa through a relaxed networking event that has a very important social element. We have encouraged companies to replace one of their own traditional golf days with The World's Biggest Company Golf Day, to enjoy a national event," says Pranill Ramchander, Portfolio Manager: Corporate Communications, Sentech.
The event has already secured the participation of 3 500 golfers, among them CEOs and captains of industry from South Africa's leading corporates.
