Sharp releases Frontier series
Sharp has released the first models in its Frontier Series of printers and printer products, the MX-C311 and the MX-C401, reports Istockanalyst.
The MX-C311 and MX-C401 are the first in the new line of A4 multifunction peripheral (MFP) and printer products that are designed to meet the needs of small and medium workgroups.
“The new Sharp Frontier Series of A4 MFPs and printers will bring office document products to the centre of activity in the office and help IT managers consolidate disparate printers,” said Ed McLaughlin, president of Sharp Imaging US.
Alereon powers Toshiba solution
Toshiba's wireless USB dynadock will be powered by Alereon's AL5000 wireless USB (WUSB) chipset, states Marketwatch.
The dynadock is a full-featured docking station designed to meet the needs of the office environment.
When used in conjunction with a Toshiba PCIe ExpressCard34 or WUSB adapter, the dynadock can operate in WiMedia band groups one, three, and six, meeting regulatory requirements across the globe via a simple software configuration.
InfoPrint to showcase solutions
InfoPrint Solutions, a joint venture between IBM and Ricoh, will exhibit a line of products for the commercial print industry at Graph Expo 2008, to be held in Chicago from 26 to 29 October, says Marketwatch.
InfoPrint will showcase its Suite of TransPromo Solutions, Print On Demand technologies and Automated Document Factory.
Its technology partners Press-Sense, Prinova and SAS will also demonstrate software and workflow offerings as part of this line-up.
