Smart-Tek implements integrative software
Smart-Tek Automated Services has adopted a PEO software that integrates payroll, human resources, benefits administration, billing and accounts receivable, says IT News Online.
Brian Bonar, CEO of Smart-Tek says: "The decision to partner with FW Davison was based on our need to utilise technology that has product and platform scalability and fulfils our commitment to our clients to provide a system that has flexibility, infallible accuracy, and a self-service Web application that provides real-time data."

Cintra combines HR, payroll software
Cintra HR & Payroll Services expects to grow its sales by 16% this year as it prepares to roll out one of the most important products in its 29-year history, writes Nebusiness.
The company has grown its turnover by more than 30% over the past two years to between £2 million (R24 million) and £5 million (R60 million) and wants to grow its workforce from 53 to more than 60 in the coming months to support the release of a product that combines its services.
It has combined its separate HR and payroll software systems into one product, which has been warmly received in initial trials. The software will give users the choice to subscribe to a remote online server controlled by Cintra, or have the software installed directly at their offices.
NorthgateArinso snaps up HR developer
Adelaide payroll and HR software developer Neller Software has been acquired by multinational vendor NorthgateArinso, which sells HR services to corporates and government customers. In Britain its software reaches one in three workers, reports Australian IT.
It is looking to increase market share in Europe, North America, and the Asia-Pacific, and the acquisition of Neller's 1 100 customers would be a "strong bridge-head" into Australia, according to vice-president for global marketing, Michael Custer.
Neller employs about 95 staff and sells software, support and employment services to medium-to-large businesses. Its offerings include the remotely hosted payroll and HR software Preceda OnDemand.
