Brandon Spear, former MD of Miraculum, has left the company to take up a post as regional VP of Quadrem Africa, a global mining, minerals and metals e-marketplace.
Spear served as MD of Miraculum for the past three years. He was also involved in senior operational roles, developing business-to-business solutions for the local marketplace at Dimension Data and Internet Solutions.
He says the move offers him new challenges in a global context. "My work at Miraculum is done," he says.
In announcing Spear`s appointment, which was effective from 1 May, Quadrem reports that its South African region has connected over a dozen buyer sites and has signed up more than 200 suppliers, which currently represent over R1 billion of potential annual spend.
It is not yet clear who will take over as MD at Miraculum.
